Sew Your Fabric Scraps
I am joining the RSC 2024. This is a great way to work through fabric scraps.
I already keep my scraps sorted by color.
Each month a color is given, and we are to complete a block or more in that color.
January's color is dark and bright green.
One of the challenges for me is picking the blocks.
This is a disappearing 4 patch.
This block also gives me the opportunity to work at lining up seams.
I have smaller scraps that will fall into other projects.
I love scrappy quilts!
Here are a few of my green scraps.
Trimmed the 4 patch 1-inch from the center seam on each side.
Left the mini 4 patch as is and rotated the 1-inch pieces.
How do you sew through your scraps?
This is the first time I am joining the RSC. Looking forward to sewing through the fabric scraps.
Keep things simple in the sewing room and enjoy your sewing time.
All the best!
