March Goals Finish

This month I participated in One Monthly Goal at Elm Street Quilts.

My goal for March  was to complete a sewing machine mat .

• Cut fabric
• Quilt mat
• Add pockets to hold supplies
• Bind mat

On this particular project I wanted to work  on the quilting and the binding,

The quilting was completed on a domestic machine and was simple straight line quilting.

Binding a quilt has always been a little bit more intimidating and I still have  much to learn.

In addition to quilting, I enjoy working on small projects to learn techniques and develop quilting skills.

Getting ready to do April's project.  

I am also getting ready to send a quilt top to the longarm quilter.
